Hollywood

10AM Helen Bernstein High School, 1309 N Wilton Pl

Our 2022 holiday gatherings will take place 5PM and 7PM Christmas Eve in the Hope Center chapel (registration required). There will be no gatherings on Christmas day and our New Year’s day Sunday gatherings will be at the usual times. LEARN MORE AND REGISTER ➜

Each Sunday we gather from all walks of life and all parts of the city. We meet online and onsite and dress the same way we dress the rest of the week. In other words, we’re probably a lot like you. We also love seeing new faces.

Every week we retell the story of Jesus to recenter our lives on what matters most. This includes worshiping God through song, hearing Scripture preached, and responding in prayer, communion, and more song. Friendly volunteers will be available to help you find your way around and assist with any questions you may have. Hope to see you this week!

More Details

Can I volunteer?

Yes! Our onsite gatherings are amazing times of worship, celebration, and teaching, but they require a lot of volunteers to make them happen. You can sign up to serve at reality.la/volunteer.

What will the kids be doing?

See below for a snapshot of what we are able to currently offer each age group. Read more details about each area by clicking here.

Will there be a Moms' Room area?

Yes! There is a private Moms’ Room located off the northeast part of the courtyard (signs will direct you day-of) for moms to feed, change, or care for their babies. See below for more details.

Are masks required?

No, though they are still recommended.

Will you provide sanitizer?

Yes, hand sanitization stations will be provided and there will be frequent sanitization of all high-touch surfaces, including restrooms, both before and during gatherings.

Will an offering be taken?

All giving currently takes place via the Pushpay app or online at reality.la/give.

What if I’m sick, but not with COVID-19?

Please show thoughtfulness and lovingkindness toward others and stay home if you have any symptoms or are sick in any way.

Can I come even if I belong to an at-risk group?

If you are in an at-risk group, we strongly recommend that you continue to attend programs and gatherings remotely online until you can be assured of being safe around others.

What if someone who attended a gathering later tests positive?

If we become aware that someone who attended the gathering has tested positive for COVID-19, we will ask them for a list of anyone they had close contact with while here and make efforts to alert those people. We will monitor reports and guidelines and alert you if there appears to be a reason to take any additional appropriate action.

Families

Below is a snapshot of what we currently offer. Read more details about each area by clicking here.

Moms’ Room

If you have one child aged 6 months or younger, we suggest this private/female-only space with a live feed of the sermon is the best spot for you.

Nursery/Toddler

This is a space for children 6-36 months to come, during the gathering. You can check them in and drop them off with our background-checked volunteer team.

Preschool-4th Grade

Children Preschool-4th grade can join us for a full version of Kids Ministry, meaning you can check them in and drop them off with our background-checked volunteer team. Any child participating in this area must be fully potty trained and able to communicate with our volunteer team.

Sunday Youth Connects

RLA Youth meets immediately after our 10AM gathering until 12:30PM to connect with one another, share snacks, and spend time considering applications of God’s word.

Location and Parking

Our parking capacity is very limited, so we strongly encourage you to carpool, rideshare, use public transportation rather than parking on neighborhood streets. We’re guests in this area and don’t want be a burden to local residents. There’s a Metro Red Line station just five blocks away at Hollywood and Western and several bus lines drop off within a few blocks of the high school.
